Yea, Suzetta is home safe and sound!!! All her final test went as good as we could ever hope! she has to wear her silly turban till wed. then she gets to take it off!!! She has already put in for her appointment with me to wash her hair! lol!! she is such a silly goose! she was a little down missing the boys first day of school but hey, she is alive and in great shape we couldn't ask for more! SATURDAY August 23, 2008

Great news, Suzetta slept last night! She went yesterday because her bandage aka turban.... was giving her some trouble because it was SO tight! They redid it and added a couple bows to it!!! lol you would think I had something to do with it!! She is doing GREAT all her test results came back clear.... so she has her final app. Monday morning at 9am then she gets to head back to T Town! Oh I forgot to update that they said she could come home yesterday but we were a little leery of her making such a long trip twice in three days so she decided to stay there just to be on the safe side...Again, and i cant say it enough thank you to everyone for all your concern... It means SO MUCH to know how many peoples lives one person can touch!! God Bless You ALL!

Tuesday 2:00

So sorry that it has taken me so long to update Zettas blog things have been just a little crazy. I left chaddy and zetta my laptop so they could keep everyone updated but they have been busy since Zetta thinks she has to show off by walking the halls, giving herself showers, oh yeah and MOVING TO THE HOTEL TODAY!!!!! She is more than an amazing person... I don't know how she does it. If all goes as planed she will get her stitches removed Thursday and GET THIS.... coming home FRIDAY!!!! Praise the Lord! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers through this life changing experience our family has gone through! We could never be able to thank everyone enough! Pleas put the wonderful doctors on your full time prayer list they are truly a GODSEND!

TUESDAY 2

We just got to visit Zetta again and now we are.....get this........ THEY ARE MOVING HER TO A ROOM!!! NOT ICU, but a full fledged room!!!! That is how GREAT she is doing!!! Her new room will be 204 UAMS Little Rock Ar. The phone number for general information is 501-296-1246. Now we are just waiting on them to get her settled in! oh and I can bring her some tea next visiting time!!

Saturday 9:00am

Well her first night and she is doing great! We just got to go see her and shocker, she is all smiles!!!! The overnight nurses said she was doing wonderful. She did say she felt like she had a huge hangover! That silly thing! Our Prayers now are for a good recovery and that her body is going to fight infection! Please continue to pray for her doctor and his team, I tell you they are nothing short of a miracle! Suzetta and her high spirits when I left to let others go back and see her she said "wink, wink with my right eye" which is a wonderful thing that she actually wink with her right eye, the doctor told us to plan on it being completely closed and the right side of her face to be immobile for weeks even up to months!!! And 2 look at her.... NOTHING minus the bandage. PRAISE THE LORD!!! All she wants now is a Mcalister sweet tea!! I'm going to get her a gallon as soon as she can drink!!! Again we cant thank everyone from one side of the US to the other for all the PRAYERS! It was what got her this far.. Love to all and have a wonderful weekend I will update as soon as I can. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suzetta is out of surgery, awake and smiling!!! The nurse said that she was amazing usually it is about 2 hours before anyone come too and she was awake in about 30 min. The best news about her smiling is that there was no nerve damage!!!! They are going 2 do another MRI tomorrow to make sure but he feels that he got all of it and that it is benign!!! We just cant thank every one enough for the PRAYERS!!!!! We know that this was nothing short of a miracle!!! The LORD was watching over my big sis through this all and what a mighty GOD we serve!!! Oh plus we are going 2 be able to see her in about 20 min. her doctor said that is unusual but that she was wonderful... What a strong woman and mother it takes to face what she has been faced with and 2 go in with a smile and come out with one!!!

Yeah!!!! We just got word that they are sewing her up at this very moment!!!!!!! So far so Good!!!! Praise The Lord!!!!!!!!!!

7:30 update

Well at least something from a doctor... He came and told us that her doctor was still under the microscope which means it is still going 2 be a while but that they have gotten most of the tumor out at this point but they are still working on her and she is still doing good. I know it doesn't seem like much but hearing a little something from someone besides a receptionist is music to our ears!!! We seem to be looking at a very late evening but she is under the Lords hands and the patient hands of a wonderful doctor! I will keep everyone as informed as I can. Thanks for the continuous prayers!!!

7:00 update....

Well, I wish I had something new 2 say but they just came and told us that they are still working on her...BLESS HER HEART!!!!! I guess all that is left 2 do keep on praying and as if we can pray any harder try 2 add a little extra in for the doctors stamina, what a long day for them as well!!! I will let everyone know as soon as we hear anything else.....

The Waiting Game....... : /

Well we are just waiting and waiting and waiting to hear something (good that is). I have been truly amazed at the amazing out pour of care that has come Zettas way! It just goes to show what an awesome impact Suzetta has had on so many people!!!! The boys are up here with us so we have made MANY trips 2 ALL the gifstshops! ha ha Once again thank you all for the flowers, cards, gift baskets, calls and most of all your PRAYERS!!!!! Please let people concerned about Suzetta know that I have set up this web site for her, it is so hard 2 try and get in touch with everyone thinking about Zetta!!! THANK EVERYONE SO MUCH!!!!

Hey all, We just received an update that all is going as scheduled and that Zetta is doing well... It is still going 2 b a long day but shes a trooper so I know she is giving them a run for their money... wait, a run for chads money! ha ha!!!

Here we go again!!!

August 15th 2008

Hello friends and family! Well They finished up with Zetta about 3pm yesterday and we got 2 go see her about 30 min. after her first surgery was done. Basically they just went in and got everything opened up and accessible so when they started again this morning they could just focus on the tumor... You all know Zetta she would not even let them give her Tylenol!!! From what her nurse said they did slip a little something in her iv so she would sleep last night because she refused to close her eyes!!! You know her, she was so afraid she would miss something!! When we got 2 see her she just said she felt like she had a really bad hangover!!:) What an inspiration she has been 2 all of us!!! We got here this morning about 5:15 this morning and they had given her a bath and brushed her teeth and gave her a new iv and told her 2 enjoy her whee ties!! lol yummy!! Again what else can I say but she was nothing but in great spirits and smiles. They started her second round of surgery around 7:00 so we should get an update b4 too long and I will do my best to get the info to her blog as soon as I can.. Again our family thanks you all for Gifts and as the boys call it "JUNK", phone calls emails and most of all your PRAYERS!!!!!

Zetta's update

Hello to all of Suzettas friends & Family. We just received an update that Zetta is making it good!!! Praise the Lord!!!! Her precious boys came up for a little bit even though she could not see them I know she knows they were here!!!( she's good like that)! That is about all we know so far please keep up the PRAYERS she knows they are working!! she laughed and said "everyone must be praying I get some rest because I have gone right to sleep when I go to bed"! :p I cant say enough how much we appreciate the outflow of love she has received!!!

Surgery day! August 14 2008

Hello all, since suzetta is such a loved person I thought it would be a lot easier to get a website to keep everyone informed on her condition.... First Our family wants to THANK YOU ALL for the sweet cards, flowers, phone calls, emails and most of all your PRAYERS. We arrived at the hospital at 5:30 this morning and they got her prepped and unfortunately we learned that this will be a two day surgery... :( but we all know zetta and her spirits were very high and she went down the hall with her patented smile on her beaming face!!! We haven't gotten an update yet but I know that all is going as God has planed!!! Which is 100% wonderful! I am so excited to see how much better she is going to feel once this burden is removed! Of course she goes on as if nothing is wrong as usual. Pleas feel free to get in touch with any of us if I don't get things posted quick enough..
